Meet Eikichi Onizuka, a 22-year-old virgin and ex-biker. He's crude, foul-mouthed, and has a hair-trigger tempor. His goal: to be the Greatest High School Teacher in the World. Unfortunatly, the only teaching job available is at Holy Forest Academy (no certification required). There he uses his street smarts to deal with colleagues and students alike. GTO is the runaway hit from Japan based on the hugely popular manga serious by Tohru Fujisawa. The finale of the live action version of GTO was the most watched TV program ever in Japan

GTO First Impressions

     GTO is a highly original anime! Unlike anything I have seen yet. This show mixes some drop-dead comedy, exciting excitement, suspenceful drama, and it's own personal, unique style. Truely spectacular! A must see for anime lovers of virtually all ages (quite a bit of sexual humor, though) and genders. A great (no pun intended) charm and I certainly cannot wait to see more of this wonderful work of art.
