Quick Bio: Born in Kanagawa prefecture; Naru is currently 17 years old and lives in room 304 of the Hinata Apartments. She is a smart student who wants to enter Tokyo University and recieves the top score in nationwide practice entrance exam for universities. Due to excessive studying, her eyesight is extremely bad. She is a very emotional girl.

Other Facts
-As Keitaro would say, Naru wears these huge coke bottle glasses. She is extremely near-sighted and whenever she doesn't wear them she gets herself into trouble.
-In the manga, Keitaro makes a rather harsh crack about Naru's glasses and later she makes him promise never to do it again. She says she likes her glasses, which makes one wonder if she is only her true self with her glasses on.
-Although she smacks him around a lot, she really cares for Keitaro. It is clear, though, that she has many mixed feelings about him and throughout most of the show she really has no idea what to feel about him.
-Naru's first kiss was with Mutsumi, the (*ahem*) female version of Keitaro. It was more of a sign of an apology and friendship than a romantic kiss. Naru was touched (literally) by the kiss, but never thought of it in any romantic way.
